This programme is launched by Department of women and child development and Social Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal. BFCWS conducts this programme in Mondirbazar Block in collaboration with CDPO, Mondirbazar Block .South 24 Parganas. The activity encompasses training and skill development of adolescent girls belonging to 11 to 18 years .Different issues like early marriage prevention, child trafficking, early pregnancy prevention, and awareness on adolescents’ reproductive and sexual health, vocational guidance to ado. girls and skill development etc. are addressed by the programme.The main stakeholders are AWW, ASHA, ANM who call the girls and form the peer group to facilitate the programme among other girls. The leaders named Saheli, Sakhi plays vital role to communicate with other girls and address their problems through training, orientation and linkage with the respective departments.
