Our MISSION

It is evident that we have come a long way since Bhetkipur Family and Child welfare Society (BFCWS) was founded in 2004. Our organization is working in some devoted issues of women and child development, health & nutrition, environment, education, livelihood management, protection and promotion of rights of different vulnerable segments of the society and response to natural disasters, women empowerment etc. in the Block Mathurapur II, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.

APPEAL TO THE MASS and GOs, NGOs
BFCWS works in remote area of Sundarban Delta where the people do not come in limelight of the development. BFCWS stands by the people deprived of life facilities due to lack of source, knowledge and information about resources. The area of work is disaster prone and people lead life of distress. We like to make them self dependent imparting training to community volunteers on different issues like disaster response, livelihood management, awareness on health and nutrition, cultivation of crops etc. The main thrust area is to involve the people by forming community groups to change the life situation improving their knowledge, skill and attitude towards struggle of life. But our financial stringency and limited resource make barrier to reach vast community with development and welfare activites. I therefore appeal to general mass and kind hearted people, Government and Nongovernment Organisations to stand by BFCWS for helping the helpless community in Sudarban area and extend support for making a sustainable society with all resources of life.
